First of all if you think you’re going to pass easily without putting in effort, you’re not.
Here are some tips for surviving JRN 320:
1. BE ON TIME-Don’t be late. Ever,.and don’t miss class. Ever.
2. There are no exceptions for late work. Projects are due the day of class, and don’t expect any sympathy because you’re not going to get it.
3. Start all class assignments way in advance. Before you know it, it’s due the next day and you’re panicking in the newsroom for hours because you don’t know what to do with yourself.
4. If you’re not tech savvy, then I don’t know what to tell you. Because I’m not and it sucks.
In the end, you will learn a lot from this class. After taking JRN 320 you will definitely have a better outlook on what to expect in the major for the future.
