I am not going to say this again, but today was a disappointment. Many of you did not come to class prepared nor had the work finished. You are all adults and if you chose not to do your homework or major projects that will only hurt you in the end. I am here to help if you need anything, please send an email or call.
If you were one of the students who didn’t turn in your event homework, please email me soon to clear the story. According to the syllabus, all posts and drafts are due by 7 a.m. the day of class and late homework will not receive any credit. I can’t stress enough times how important it is for you to pick a visual event that will provide for lots of great photo opportunities. You need to set yourself up for success.
Pick a story or event that inspires you, this is one of the few times in life you can control the story you want to write. Don’t just pick something because you were lazy and read the first thing off the events calendar! Remember will the room be bright enough for photos, will the story be visual and contact someone before the event happens to get a better understanding for it.
Lastly, I would make sure you are all doing your class reading….there may just be a pop quiz.
